LEDNIUM TECHNOLOGY IS RoHS COMPLIANT

The European RoHS Hazardous Substance Directive

In 2003 the European Union released “The Restriction of Hazardous Substances in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) Directive (2002/95/EC)” restricting the use of materials including Lead, Cadmium, Mercury, Hexavalent Chromium and PBB/PBDE flame retardants. This Directive will commence on July 1, 2006 and apply to products sold within Europe. More information regarding RoHS requirements is freely available on the internet.

Lednium Technology Complies With RoHS Requirements

Lednium core products are compliant with all the criteria proposed by the European RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC for hazardous material content in electronic and electrical equipment. Lednium endeavours to supply RoHS compliant products including its non core products, in the event such compliance cannot be met it will be clearly indicated.

Lednium Technology has the following advantages over traditional light sources:

Energy Efficient
Long Lifetime
No UV (unless specified)
Reduced maintenance costs
Vibration and impact resistant

In addition Lednium Technology offers advantages over standard LEDs:

Wide angle light dispersion (3D design)
Uniform light distribution
Good thermal dissipation
High power devices for maximum light output
